Methodology:

The colors of the CO2 dataset were changed from the original figure and combined to show a continuous data series. The year "2017" was added to show the current CO2 values.

The temperature dataset was added to this graph along with second y-axis, and is from the EPICA Dome C Ice Core 800KYr Deuterium Data and Temperature Estimates from the World Data Center for Paleoclimatology in Boulder, CO and NOAA paleoclimatology program (ftp://ftp.ncdc.noaa.gov/pub/data/paleo/icecore/antarctica/epica_domec/edc3deuttemp2007.txt). These data were converted from degrees Celsius to degrees Fahrenheit. The year was multiplied by -1 to match the format of the CO2 calculations. The temperature dataset covers the same time period as the CO2 dataset and the historic data is largly from the same ice core.
