Methodology:

Water temperature data was interpolated onto a uniform vertical grid of 1 m resolution using linear interpolation

Data was visualized by mapping the interpolated values onto a colormap where data in the matrix represents colors and each column in the matrix corresponds to one day of the year and each row in the matrix corresponds to one depth measurement from 0 to 20 m depth at 1 m intervals.

How the source was modified: Water temperature data for the year corresponding to 1997 plus a 3 degree celsius increase in air temperature was extracted from the larger set
