Past and Projected Changes in Global Sea Level
Figure 33.6
Cooperative Institute for Climate and Satellites - NCKenneth E. Kunkel
This figure appears in chapter 33 of the NOAA-led State Summaries 2017 report.
Estimated, observed, and possible future amounts of global sea level rise from 1800 to 2100, relative to the year 2000. The orange line at right shows the projected range from climate models of 1 to 4 feet by 2100 based on an assessment of scientific studies, which falls within a larger risk-based scenario range of 0.66 feet to 6.6 feet. Source: The Third National Climate Assessment.
The time range for this figure is January 01, 1800 (00:00 AM) to December 31, 2100 (00:00 AM).
This figure was created on November 15, 2013.
The spatial range for this figure is -90° to 90° latitude, and -180° to 180° longitude.
