In this chapter, the North American coastline is broken up into four main regions: Atlantic Coast, Gulf of Mexico, Pacific Coast (including the Sea of Cortez, Gulf of Alaska, and Bering Sea), and High Latitudes (including the Chukchi Sea, Beaufort Sea, Hudson Bay, Labrador Sea, and Gulf of Saint Lawrence).
