Mid (left) and late (right) 21st-century changes are compared to the 1986–2005 baseline under the low-emissions (RCP 2.6, top) and high-emissions (RCP 8.5, bottom) scenarios. Multimodel ensemble-mean changes are shown where gray dashes indicate areas where changes are small (less than one standard deviation) compared to natural variability. Frost days are defined as the number of days during a calendar year with the minimum temperature falling below 0 °C.
